My Experience

1.) 12 years at a residential facility in Virginia for people with developmental disabilities serving over 100 individuals. Provided direct clinical services in speech pathology and performed supervisory functions.
2.) 10 years serving as a Director for a residential program for people with developmental disabilities in Georgia serving over 600 individuals. Responsible for all programmatic and managerial functions.
3.) 10 years as Facility Administrator for a residential facility for people with devlopmental disabilities serving over 300 individuals. Responsible for all functions of the facility and its learning programs.

My Awards

1.) Certified as an "expert witness" in mental retardation in the Supreme Court Case of L.C. vs Olmstead (1995).
2.) Awarded the Teacher Education Commitment to Education Excellence Award (2003) (An Austrailian Award)
3.) Winner in the Top Online Educator award competition (2004)
4.) Presented with the "Learning Abilities Book" award for authoring the Functional Independence skills Handbook (2004)
