MMUHS Diploma where I had A's in English & Writing, Accounting, all 4 years of French, Word Processing, Business Management, Shorthand, and Business Administration.

After high school, I took some college computer courses while working in Mortgage Banking. Then I made a move to the Adminstrative Assistant for the President of a local mailing warehouse. There I attended a few CareerTrack courses in secretarial skills.

For the past 14 years, I have been a dedicated stay at home mom to a "gifted" son and daughter.  Both are straight A students and do exceptionally well in the school setting.  In fact, I think they found the "new" math to be far easier to understand than their mom!

I have spent time volunteering as a parent-teacher helper for the local kindergarten class.  I love to chaperone field trips, when my kids let me.  I spend a lot of time weeding my herb, vegetable and flower gardens, and have a small man-made pond that is home to a few frogs currently.  I love to cook and have spent time in the kitchen since the age of 10. I am currently writing my first book, a young adult that so far my son is enjoying. Hopefully, he is not just being kind.

Since school, I have kept up to date with my shorthand, typing and business skills. My typing speed remains at 70 words per minute. With the popularity of the computer, my shorthand speed has slowed, but I still read shorthand as quickly as ever.

I launched my own book review and author interview site four years ago. Things have gone incredibly well! Response from authors, readers, publicists and publishers has been tremendous!  Anyone who is interested in book reviewing can contact me for more information.
