My Education

Received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Temple University in Early Childhood, Elementary, and Special Education.

A Masters of Science Degree in Instructional Technology from New York Institute of Technology in the area of Instructional Technology and was awarded the Dean’s Award for the highest achieving student both academically and professionally.

In addition, she received a Masters in Education (Ed.M) in Supervision from Teachers College, Columbia University.

And as a research fellow, she has earned a doctoral degree in the area of Administration of Special Education at Teachers College, Columbia University.

My Experience

This is her 18th year teaching and has twice been awarded “Teacher of the Year.�

She is currently a middle school special education teacher. She has been teaching learning disabled students in all subject areas for 17 years and served as the district’s technology curriculum specialist.

In addition, she has served as an adjunct in the area of psychology at Fordham University. There she specialized in teaching undergraduate classes such as Psychology of Exceptional Children, Psychology of Women and Psychology of Learning Disabilities.

She is trained as and serves as a Bergen County Turnkey Inclusion Trainer for her school district and has served as the school webmaster. She has collaborated with general and special education teachers in all subject areas and holds workshops for teachers in the area of technology in education.
