2001-2003 Math Professor for the "Pontifica Universidad de Madre Y Maestra" in Santiago, Dominican Republic. I taught all math courses offered here in Spanish. Algebra, Pre Calculus, Calculus, Differential Equations, Linear algebra at the grad level. I also worked at the "Universidad Tecnologico de Santiago" where I taught in the masters program such courses as optimization, and math modeling.
2000 Middle school math and science teacher at the Majuro Coopschool in Majuro in the Marshall Islands.
1998-2000 High School (Prepa) teacher at the Instituto Tecnologico de Monterrey in Mazatlan, Mexico. I taught high school level algebra, trigonometry, geometry, and claculus in both English and Spanish.
1993-1998 I was a mathematics professor at the Universidad Catolica Boliviana in Cochabamba, Bolivia. I taught courses from the precalculus level to Matrix theory, linear algebra, real number analysis, numeric analysis as well as the basic university calculus sequence. I also did a substantial amount of curriculum development. I also worked at Univalle where I taught mathematical logic and English as a foreign language. My math classes were are given in Spanish. 6 hours a week I taught 7th and 8th grade math at a small bi-lingual school "Tito's PLace."
Early 1993 Visiting professor at Universidad San Francisco de Quito.

1983-1987 My second sojourn into higher education at Idaho State University, where I got a BA in Spanish and an MS in Math.
1973-1983 Lived and worked in Colombia. I originally bought a farm about 50 km. west of Popayan. It was in a very remote area, the ten year old son of my workman asked, "why is there a hole in that chair," as we installed the toilet into the house I made with my own hands.I had to construct my own windmill and generator to provide 12 volt electricity. I had 12 cows, ten thousand chickens, as well as coffee bananas and other crops. I can certainly pluck a chicken faster than your average math professor.
After 5 years on the farm I moved to Bogota, where I taught ESl ( I had my own school for some time, wrote my own books, and even mopped the floor on occasion), drilled water wells and own a restaurant.
1969-1973 Freelance traveler with stories too numerous to relate.
1966-1969 My first run at university. I studied Physics, Math and English literature at the University of Illinois in Chicago.I also played three years of varsity ice hockey.
