My Education
I spent about 10 years researching and learning about disaster preparedness and teaching others how to be prepared. My greatest source of disaster preparedness education was my father who was a public speaker gave lectures for years on disaster preparedness.
My Experience
Present: Disaster Preparedness Workshop Riverside Community College
McAnally Enterprises LLC Helped company create disaster plan, employee printed materials and emergency kits.
August 2001 - June 2004 Ridgecrest Elementary School School Volunteer Helped school organize a disaster plan and create classroom emergency kits. Worked with kindergarten through second grade students. Duties included: Running reading program, individual tutoring, testing, craft projects, library science, project organization, misc administrative duties.
June 1998 - September 2000 Rainbow Crest Preschool
Helped school organize a disaster plan and create classroom emergency kits. Worked with preschool age and special needs children. Duties included: circle time activities, testing and assessing, craft projects, educational play, record keeping.
1988 - 1996 T.M. Cobb Company Administrative Manager Organized a disaster plan and created emergency kits for the company. Duties included: Accounts receivables, accounts payables, payroll, credits, data entry, customer service, load writing, employee hiring, employee training, employee supervision, account research, record keeping and general manager duties.
