My Education
I received my B.S. in Psychology and M.S. in Psychology from Lael University, St Louis, MO. I received my PhD. in Psychology from Columbus University. I have also completed Missouri Law Enforcement Standards Academy . I completed the Federal Emergency Management's school for professional development. I completed Emergency medical technician training and licensure. I also completed all requirements to teach both disaster and health and safety red Cross classes.
My Experience
I worked as a deputy sheriff in Missouri for 16 years, with the last 8 as chief deputy. I then switched to a practice in mental health after completing my Masters and the Doctorate. I continued in practice until three years ago, when I began private consultant work, and working in real estate with my husband.
My Awards
I received the JC Penny Award for volunteerism in 1195. I also received South Carolina State Therapist of the year award in 2000.
My Publications
My dissertation was published. It is titled " A multi-disciplinary Approach To treating At-Risk Youth and Young Adults" It was published in the Columbus University Journal of Psychology and Practices.
