  I am presently submitting my novel, Smuggling Peace, to potential publishers.  It is set at the beginning of WWII in Vienna, Austria, and is written for teenagers.

• I live happily with my husband, our one-year-old daughter, and several houseplants.

I first knew that I was going to be a writer when I was in fifth grade.  I entered a state-wide competition, and won the gold medal for my short story.  While I was in University, I won student writing competitions in short stories and creative non-fiction.
