1994- Started farrier work 1994-1998 helped run a cattle ranch in western WA
1998-Started trick training horses for commercial re-sale
1999-Trick trained horses in Pullman, WA for local entertainment venues. Ran a horse brokering business
2000-Bought and trick trained "Eeyore" miniature jack and opened a jack breeding service
2000-current training trick horses for elderly care facilities and entertainment venues. Train horses for people with special needs. 2002-Married my farrier and horse trainer, Tom, with over 15 years experience in the industry. 2003-opended Senter's Quarter Horses, a 21 acre equine facility with businesses in boarding, training, sells, breeding, lessons and farrier work.

My Experience

1994-prestent- worked as a farrier for King's Misty Winds Ranch, North Star Appys, and Senter's Quarter Horse Ranch
Aug 1998-Jan 2001-Genetics Technician-USDA Chickpea and Lentil Genetics- WSU-performed general lab duties such as washing dishes, cleaning and organizing, ran PCR and LiCor gels, created a fungus library, found research articles, wrote preliminary research findings, created data bases on Excel, Access, and Word. Performed greenhouse work such as planting, hand harvesting, labeling, transplanting, and watering. Performed field work such as harvesting, maintaining equipment, plot labeling, plot data and observations.

Jan 1999-Jan 2001-Freshman Seminar Instructor-WSU-instructed college
Freshman on web page design, research, and writing skills.
Jan 2001-May 2002-Student Agricultural Teacher-Colton School District, Colton, WA- Managed the FFA program, observed animal, crop, and mechanical projects, taught classes such as ag. business management, computer science, animal science, leadership and shop.
August 2002-June 2003-Agricultrual Teacher-Colfax School District, Colfax, WA-Managed the FFA program, coached food science team, managed greenhouse, taught classes such as metals, engines, construction, biology, physical science, leadership, and business.
May 2003-Current-Ranch Owner-own and operate Senter’s Quarter Horses. 21
acres of Palouse ranch land plays host to a boarding facility, training and
lessons arena, breeding services, massage and farrier services as well as
trick horse performances and training.
